Look: Tennessee reveals double striped pants for 2020 season

We haven’t seen too much variation through the years from Tennessee in the uniform department. There have been a few brief detours — black jerseys in 2009, the ‘smokey grey’ look of the Butch Jones era — but the orange and white has typically reigned supreme.

Tennessee has changed up some small details of their look, however. We’ve seen striped pants from both Nike and Adidas, both in different ways. But when Jeremy Pruitt and Phillip Fulmer took control of the football program in 2017, the Volunteers went back to the basics. Black cleats, no stripes on the pants — it was a return to a basic traditional look.
