Jeremy Pruitt updates the JJ Peterson situation

One of the biggest storylines of Tennessee fall camp has been the absence of four-star 2018 commit JJ Peterson. The four-star linebacker has yet to arrive in Knoxville as he continues to work on finishing his academic requirements.

Tennessee head coach Jeremy Pruitt told us when he knew about the situation on Saturday.

“He’s finishing up a class, and when he gets the class finished up, he’ll be here,” Pruitt said. “Would we have liked it to have been last week? Absolutely, but that’s part of it. You’ve got to do it, and he’s working hard to do that.
