Titans player-coach Harry Douglas practicing, may be designated off IR soon

NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- Harry Douglas knew his teammates were going to get their jokes in about his return but it didn't put a damper on his mood. The Tennessee Titans veteran receiver participated in practice Monday for the first time this season and could be designated off injured reserve and activated as early as this week.

Douglas, 33, has been the Titans' player-coach during the last ten weeks, but now he prepares to return to his on-field role.

"I'm feeling like a kid in the candy store," said Douglas, who was placed on injured reserve at the start of the season after feeling pain in his knee.
