The Titans announced today that they have place punter Brett Kern on the Reserve/COVID-19 list. The team did not say whether or not Kern tested positive for COVID. It could just be a close contact thing. Of course yesterday they placed Stephen Gostkowski on the COVID list as well.
We have already seen what the punting game looks like when Kern is not on the team. If Kern didn’t test positive he could still play against the Texans on Sunday. He would just have to pass 5 tests in the next 5 days. That could have started today - again just speculation at this point.
