Zach Bogosian was a third overall pack in in 2008 behind Steven Stamkos and Drew Doughty. His skating was touted as one of his strengths heading into that draft and the Atlanta Thrashers thought he would be a cornerstone for their franchise for years to come.
That didn’t quite work out for Atlanta or Bogosian. Many years later the big defenseman finally found himself in the playoffs. He hasn’t been bad. Nobody, however, expected him to make a play like this:
