TB-DET Inactives: Russell Cleared to Play

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Detroit Lions named their game-day inactives on Sunday at 11:30 a.m. ET, 90 minutes before kickoff of their Week 14 contest at Raymond James Stadium. NFL teams are required to reduce their active rosters to 46 players for each regular-season game.

The Buccaneers had already ruled out four players, all on defense, on Friday: cornerback Vernon Hargreaves, defensive tackle Clinton McDonald, safety Josh Robinson and safety T.J. Ward. All four will be missing at least their second straight game. However, three players who were sidelined by injuries last weekend in Green Bay – defensive end Robert Ayers, running back Doug Martin and center Joe Hawley – are all ready to return to action.
