Drew Brees’ Injury Leaves The NFC South Wide Open For The Taking

The Bucs and the rest of the NFC South received some major news Monday morning concering Drew Brees’ injured hand. Sometimes, you can win without even playing a game, and it looks like the Bucs were handed another victory on Sunday.

Brees injured the hand early in the matchup with the Rams after his hand hit Aaron Donald’s hand on the back end of a throw. He was forced to miss the remainder of the game and was seen on the sidelines with a bandage around his thumb.

The news broke Monday morning: Brees tore a ligament in his thumb and it will require surgery, forcing the quarterback to “likely miss six weeks”.
