We already knew the Buccaneers were going to be shorthanded on offense with Chris Godwin’s late entry into the NFL’s concussion protocol. Godwin took a helmet to helmet shot late in the fourth quarter last week against the New Orleans Saints and experienced delayed symptoms starting Wednesday.
With his absence, it would be no surprise to see Scotty Miller more involved but the entire tight end corps as well.

It’s a small surprise that rookie wide receiver Tyler Johnson finds himself inactive again in week two given the injury to Godwin, but with as much time as Johnson missed in training camp he still may not be fully up to speed with the offense or the transition to the NFL game from college.
