Buccaneers: Smart move by front office makes way for signing

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers appear to be fully aware of the largest predicament the team is having right now, the defense. Through the first two games of the season, the secondary has obviously been the Achilles heel of the team, with both the Atlanta Falcons and Dallas Cowboys spending the majority of their games throwing the ball at will.

Bucs fans should be happy to know that it would appear the Buccaneer front office hopes to remedy this situation sooner rather than later. It’s being reported that the Bucs have just restructured left guard Ali Marpet’s contract in a move that would free up $4 million of cap space for the 2021 season.
