At 2-0, the defending Super Bowl champion Buccaneers were out on the West Coast on Sunday to square off with another 2-0 squad, the Matthew Stafford-led Rams. Tampa Bay and Los Angeles would enter the day as two of the NFL’s six remaining unbeaten teams, but only one of the two would walk into Week 4 as part of that select group.
The Bucs, coming in on a 10-game winning streak dating back to last December, were looking to play their first complete game of the 2021 season. A penalty- and mistake-ridden win against the Cowboys on opening night preceded last week’s win over the Falcons, which ended up being a blowout after getting a little too close for comfort in the fourth quarter.
