When Coach K retires who becomes the best active Men’s Basketball Head Coach?

As the Coach K retirement news fades out of the spotlight until the 2021-22 college basketball season begins his departure does lead to some interesting discussions. Last week SBNation asked fans to give their choice for “Best Active Coach” when K retires. The top five are listed below and I’d assume Syracuse Orange fans have some thoughts here.

Let’s start at the top where Mark Few and his zero titles are a clear winner ahead of four coaches who all have one. That’s a surprising choice coming off a season where Gonzaga lost to Baylor in the title game but Few has certainly pushed the Zags to one of the top programs in the country.
