Syracuse football gets embarrassed by Maryland in Week 2 blowout

The air was let out of the balloon in Week 2 for the Syracuse football squad. Maryland took the lead with 12:07 on the clock in the first quarter and never gave it back.

It was gut-wrenching. Depressing. And quite frankly embarrassing.

After giving up -4 yards rushing in Week 1 vs a lesser opponent in the Liberty Flames, the doors were blown off the hinges by the lethal Maryland Terrapins rushing attack:

Javon Leake ran the ball just seven times but eclipsed 107 yards and banged in two touchdowns.

Anthony McFarland Jr. carried the rock 14 times for 75 yards and added two more touchdowns.
