Syracuse, N.Y. -- Syracuse football drew its second-largest home crowd of the season on Saturday when 35,210 fans showed up to watch the team's game against North Carolina.
The Carrier Dome has only been more full once through four home games this year as 37,457 sweated through SU's win over Florida State in Week 3.
This year's Homecoming crowd was also larger than the turnout last fall as 33,290 came out to watch SU beat Pittsburgh 27-24. The Orange was coming off back-to-back losses heading into both weekends.
SU is trailing North Carolina 24-20 with about 10 minutes left in the fourth quarter.
