The self-proclaimed best backcourt in women's college's basketball last season is running together again in Israel.
That's where former Syracuse University stars Alexis Peterson and Brittney Sykes are teaming up this fall and winter. They will play for Hapoel Petah Tikva.
As seniors for the Orange last season, the two liked to proclaim themselves as the top backcourt in the NCAA. Although they often said it with a smile, they were also justifiably serious.
Both were rookies in the WNBA this year. Sykes was a standout for the Atlanta Dream, finishing second in the rookie of the year balloting.
