He’s one of Stoke City’s standout performers but Jack Butland admits it’s ‘always nice’ to be linked with other clubs as it means his displays are being acknowledged.
The Potters and England goalkeeper is highly-rated by club and country – with his heroics against Arsenal and Manchester United this season only further enhancing his reputation.
Butland has been linked with a move to United in the past with some reports earmarking him as David de Gea’s replacement should the Spaniard ever leave Old Trafford.
And while Butland insists he is happy at Stoke, the 24-year-old welcomes such speculation as it means he is simply playing well for manager Mark Hughes’ side.
