Passed over for managing jobs, Clapp 'honored' to be a Cardinal again

The most productive of the Cardinals’ eight farmhands on Clapp’s Surprise club was second baseman Andy Young, a 37th round pick out of Indiana State in 2016 who had a .328 average and 1.006 OPS entering the final two games of the season. Young had three homers and 14 runs batted in for his first 18 AFL games after hitting a combined 21 homers and batting .289 at Class A Palm Beach and Class AA Springfield this past season.
