The St. Louis Blues put up a solid effort, at least on paper, against the Boston Bruins. The end result, however, painted a bigger picture. A 5-2 routing that didn’t feature the Blues in this game at all.
Head coach Jim Montgomery spoke after the game and hit the nail on the head in terms of that outing. He perfectly summed it all up in one sentence and it really makes you wonder what direction this team goes in now.
