Sporting Kansas City has unveiled the club’s full match schedule for the 2018 preseason, presented by Children’s Mercy. Manager Peter Vermes' men will play seven friendlies prior to their regular season opener against New York City FC on March 4 at Children's Mercy Park.
For the fourth consecutive year, Sporting KC will spend both legs of preseason in the state of Arizona, training in Scottsdale from Jan. 21 through Feb. 3 and then in Tucson from Feb. 9-25.
The first phase will include tune-ups against Phoenix Rising FC trialists on Jan. 27, NPSL club Sporting Arizona on Jan.
