TAMPA, Fla. (December 2, 2025) – The University of South Florida faced No. 1 and defending NCAA National Champion UConn on Tuesday. The Bulls (5-4) outscored the Huskies (8-0) in the fourth quarter but fell to UConn 85-51.
It was only the fifth time this season that UConn had been outscored in a quarter by its opponents, when South Florida outscored them 22-20. The Bulls had more positives in the third frame, when USF held UConn to just 17 points, tied for the fourth-fewest points in a quarter this season.
L'or produced a solid performance for South Florida with a team-high 12 points.
