GREENVILLE, N.C., SEPT. 21, 2017 – USF delivered head coach Denise Schilte-Brown her 200th career win in dramatic fashion Thursday night.
Katie Kitching put the Bulls ahead in the 89th minute of their 2-1 comeback victory at East Carolina in the Bulls' conference opener.
USF (5-2, 1-0) tied things up before halftime with Leah Ferlin's first-career goal in the 38th minute on an assist by Andrea Hauksdottir.
USF outshot ECU, 11-3, in the second half and got the goal it was looking for from Kitching. The freshman from England got a long pass in the box and netted her first-career goal from 10 yards out.
