KATY, Texas – South Alabama men's basketball survived a back-and-forth battle with New Mexico State and closed the game at the free-throw line to secure a 77–75 victory on Tuesday night at the Leonard E. Merrell Center. The win improves the Jaguars to 8–1 on the season and hands the Aggies their first loss of the year.
