Barcelona loanee Philippe Coutinho is currently out on loan at Bayern Munich. That loan expired yesterday and the short term future of Coutinho was in question.
According to Bild, Coutinho will extend his time at Bayern Munich for the next two months. That extended loan will see him take a reported 50 percent pay cut over that time.
Coutinho’s loan extension at Bayern Munich will give him yet another chance to prove himself on the big stage in the Champions League next month. If Barcelona are lucky, Coutinho will show out and they’ll make a pretty penny off of his showing.
