Seahawks sign Cameron Scarlett to fill vacant roster spot

The Seattle Seahawks had a vacant roster spot with training camp looming, but they have made a signing!

On Friday the team announced the addition of former Stanford running back Cameron Scarlett, which gives Seattle the maximum 90 players on the active roster.

Scarlett was an undrafted free agent in 2020 and signed with the Tennessee Titans, but was waived prior to the start of the season. At Stanford he had his breakout year as a redshirt senior, rushing for 840 yards on 201 carries for 7 touchdowns, earning team MVP honors in the process.
