The San Francisco 49ers are 0-1 and are already considerably banged up to start the season. One of the surprise names placed on injured reserve is former Seahawks superstar Richard Sherman, who played all but a handful of snaps in last Sunday’s loss to the Arizona Cardinals.

Sherman was an iron man for the Seahawks up until the Achilles rupture in the cursed 2017 season ended his time in Seattle and led to his move to San Francisco.
