My fandom has evolved as I have aged. I mention that because, in hindsight, what I am about to say will seem blasphemous.
I wasn’t a huge fan of K.J. Wright when Seattle selected him in the 4th round of the 2011 NFL Draft. I actually liked another linebacker; one that was already on our roster; one that we had selected in the first round two years earlier.
Yeah ... I know.
Like I said, my fandom has evolved.
This isn’t a story about that though. And it’s not a story about how much I grew to love, respect, and admire K.
