It’s now or never for oft-injured Seahawks running back Thomas Rawls

RENTON — He downplays it as though it’s just another game, just another Sunday, just another chance to help his team.

He knows better, though. He has to.

Two seasons ago, Thomas Rawls was a rookie leading the NFL in yards per carry. This season, he has four yards on five rushes and was scratched from Sunday’s game vs. the Colts.

Injuries — from a broken ankle to a fractured fibula to a high-ankle sprain — have incrementally hampered the 24-year-old, and as a result younger players have jumped him on the depth chart.

But with Chris Carson suffering a broken leg Sunday, Rawls will be thrust back into the lineup.
