SAN JOSE — Sharks forward Tomas Hertl may miss Thursday’s game against the Toronto Maple Leafs with what is being described as a lower body injury.
Sharks coach Pete DeBoer said Wednesday that Hertl is considered day-to-day after he was injured the night before against the Nashville Predators. Hertl left the ice with just over seven minutes remaining in the second period and did not return.
DeBoer said Hertl, who played 11 minutes against the Predators, will be reevaluated Thursday morning.
Hertl was in his second game back in the lineup after he missed three games from Nov.
