The Sharks allowed three unanswered goals in the second period as their four-game road trip began with a 6-2 loss to the Chicago Blackhawks on Wednesday at the United Center.
With the Sharks leading 1-0 on a first period power play goal by Evander Kane, Duncan Keith and Patrick Kane both scored with the man advantage to give the Blackhawks a 2-1 lead at the 16:33 mark of the second period.

Brandon Saad added a goal at the 17:58 mark of the second period and Alex Nylander gave the Blackhawks a 4-1 lead just 91 seconds into the third period.
