SAN JOSE — Martin Jones will miss the Sharks game against the Pittsburgh Penguins at SAP Center Saturday with what sources are calling a “minor injury”.
At this point, sources are labelling the Sharks goalie’s injury as “day to day”. It’s unclear whether Jones’ ailment is related to the injury that he suffered on Nov. 25, forcing him to miss a game on Nov. 28.
With Jones on the shelf for the time being, the Sharks recalled AHL Barracuda netminder Troy Grosenick to serve as Aaron Dell’s backup against the Penguins Saturday.
