Slowly but surely the Giants’ front office picture is starting to gain clarity.
Ken Rosenthal, attributing a report from The Athletic, tweeted Wednesday morning that the Giants are interested in Cubs assistant general manager Scott Harris for their vacant G.M. position.

Rosenthal described the Giants general manager position as “not a pure G.M. role,” given the active involvement of Giants president of baseball operation Farhan Zaidi.
Cubs president of baseball operations Theo Epstein talked Harris up to The Athletic.
