This article isn’t actually about the San Francisco Giants, just about baseball. According to a report from the New York Times, the Cleveland baseball time is finally changing its team name.
To which I say: damn time to drop that racist name and mascot.
This comes after Washington’s NFL team dropped their racist name and mascot, opting for the wildly creative (and presumably temporary) name of Washington Football Team. Might we get the Cleveland Baseball Team? Shortened to CBT, which kind of sounds like a substance an MLB player would get suspended 60 games for using.
