LAKE BUENA VISTA, Fla. — Bruce Bochy sat in a first-class seat for his flight to the Winter Meetings.
Little did he know there was a future Hall of Famer stuck in seat 31D.
The Giants manager told the story Monday, not long after his friend Alan Trammell, the longtime Detroit Tiger shortstop — and former coach for Bochy in San Diego — was introduced as part of the Cooperstown class of 2018.
Trammell and fellow Tiger Jack Morris were selected Sunday night by the Modern Era Baseball Committee.
