The Giants blasted their way past the Phillies tonight, scoring six runs in the 8th inning and hanging on for another huge road win. I missed the game as I was out celebrating with friends, a rare occurrence these days. It was a splendid evening, made even more splendid when checking the Giants score and seeing the fabulous result. Buster Posey hit two homers, both off starter Zack Wheeler. Tommy La Stella hit one off the former Giants farmhand as well. The real damage was done off reliever Conner Brogdon, who surrendered two three-run bombs, one by Alex Dickerson and one by Wilmer Flores.
