M GOLF | USF Picked to Finish Tied for Fifth in the WCC

SAN FRANCISCO – The West Coast Conference announced its preseason coach's poll today. The University of San Francisco men's golf team was picked to finish tied for fifth with Loyola Marymount this season, totaling 32 points.

WCC powerhouse Pepperdine was selected as the favorite to win the 2017-2018 WCC Men's Golf Championship, totaling 64 points and eight first-place votes. Rounding out the top-three were BYU in second, receiving 55 points, and Saint Mary's in third collecting 52 points.

USF opened its fall campaign on Monday with a solid performance against local university, Dominican at the Peacock Gap Golf Course.
