San Francisco 49ers tight end George Kittle is dealing with a groin injury, leaving his playing status for Week 7 against the Washington Redskins a little murky.
Head coach Kyle Shanahan said on KNBR's Murph & Mac show Friday Kittle had a "pretty bad setback" just before last week's game against the Los Angeles Rams, but was able to play through it.
“Kittle has been banged up, he got to go a little bit more yesterday,” Shanahan said. “Last week, he had a pretty bad setback on Friday which made us nervous about him on Sunday.
