Who told Adam Schefter that recently re-signed 49ers backup QB Nate Sudfeld is 'starter-worthy'?

The San Francisco 49ers made an offseason move at the quarterback position on Thursday, and, no, it’s not the one you’re thinking of/hoping for. The team re-signed career backup Nate Sudfeld to a one-year deal worth $2 million.

Perhaps the most interesting thing about a not very interesting roster addition is how ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported on it: Schefter cited a source who claimed Sudfeld “has starter potential in this league.”

49ers gave QB Nate Sudfeld a one-year, fully-guaranteed $2 million deal with upside to get it to $3 million, per source.
