San Francisco 49ers quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo has thrown 18 touchdown passes so far this season, but has also thrown 10 interceptions.
Only three NFL quarterbacks (Jameis Winston, Philip Rivers and Baker Mayfield) have more interceptions on the season, leading some to worry if the 49ers QB has a problem with throwing the ball to the other team.
When speaking to reporters Wednesday, head coach Kyle Shanahan was asked if he was concerned about the frequency of his quarterback’s interceptions, particularly the two red zone INTs he threw against the Arizona Cardinals Sunday.
“I think that’s part of football, you get used to that stuff,” he said.
