When I realized the 49ers defensive line had a nice little test against the Minnesota Vikings I started praying maybe this would be the end of their pass rush woes. Perhaps the defensive line had finally gelled (my hypothesis for how bad some things were as far as sacking the quarterback last year).
49ers defensive coordinator Robert Saleh has me even more hopeful now that he’s even saying they figured some things out. Boy, I hope they did, because behind the secondary (which I think will get respect rather quickly) the 49ers pass-rush needed help, and it wasn’t exactly addressed in the draft either.
