The SF 49ers and LA Rams have their own rivalry, but there’s a budding one between Deebo Samuel and Aaron Donald, which continued in Week 12.
It doesn’t seem as if SF 49ers wide receiver Deebo Samuel and LA Rams defensive tackle Aaron Donald like each other too much.
At least not based on their postgame pressers and social media activity.
Samuel took to both Twitter and Instagram to poke some fun at Los Angeles’ perennial All-Pro, showing some laughing emojis in reaction to a 2017 game between the Niners and Rams when Donald was ejected for a roughing-the-passer call against then-San Francisco quarterback Brian Hoyer:
Samuel’s Twitter post wasn’t without contest, although his team got the last laugh in Week 12 by pulling off a 23-20 victory over the Rams, sweeping the season series after San Francisco’s Week 6 win over LA back at Levi’s Stadium.
