Arizona Cardinals safety Budda Baker was one of the best players on the field in his team's 24-20 season opening victory against the San Francisco 49ers, recording 15 tackles, second-most in the NFL for week one.
He also delivered a tackle on San Francisco tight end George Kittle in the first half that caused Kittle to limp to the sideline, which was apparently enough for a 49ers fan to send a string of threatening, racist private messages to Baker that he has since posted for others to see. (The messages, which contain harmful and offensive language, can be viewed here.
