49ers: Notes from Week 13 loss to the Baltimore Ravens

It wasn’t the result the backers of the red and gold had hoped for as the San Francisco 49ers fell to the Baltimore Ravens 20-17 in a high-level chess match between two of the league’s best teams.

The 49ers now have two losses on the season, and for what it’s worth, both losses have been highly competitive with a lot of positives to take away even though they didn’t leave with a ‘W.’

For as dominant as Lamar Jackson has been this year as the frontrunner for MVP, it goes to show you how good this 49ers team is particularly on defense as they held Jackson to just 283 yards of total offense and lost the game on the back of a Justin Tucker field goal in the closing seconds.
