SANTA CLARA — Coach Kyle Shanahan is not ruling out Tevin Coleman for Super Bowl LIV despite losing the starting running back to a dislocated shoulder in Sunday’s NFC Championship Game.
“I expect him to have a chance to play,” coach Kyle Shanahan said. “Don’t hold me to that until we get more back from imaging.”

Coleman underwent an MRI on his right shoulder. Although Shanahan did not yet have the results, he did not consider it an injury requiring surgery but rather a week’s rest if the shoulder is put back into place.
