Padres player Wil Myers fainted at a charity event Sunday night and was taken to a hospital for tests.
He returned home with his wife Sunday night after all tests came back normal, according to a team spokesman.
“He’s up and feels good this morning,” the spokesman said.
Myers was attending an event that raised money for epilepsy research and awareness hosted by Padres closer Kirby Yates when the fainting incident occurred. According to a person at the event, Myers walked to the ambulance and entered the vehicle of his own power.
A team official said the cause of Myers’ episode was dehydration.
