For many young men, the past couple of days was an exciting infusion of emotion wrapped with pure bliss. The 200 draft-eligible prospects selected by major league teams now have their chance to fulfill a lifelong dream.
While this year’s draft has now come and gone, we can now look ahead to 2021 and a draft that will hopefully return to normality as the country continues its fight against a national pandemic.
Recently, the NCAA administered a significant change to its eligibility regulations, allowing an extra year of eligibility for spring athletes. At the height of this decision, the 2021 draft class is expected to be one of the best in recent years.
