The Padres will end up back at the scene of the scrap in Colorado for yet another 3 game set. This will be the last time we’ll have to stare at Bud Black and co. until mid-May.
Bryan Mitchell will start in tonight’s game. I’m not sure if he’s going to throw at any Rockies or if he’s even capable of doing so with accuracy. But I digress; the righty has had an absolute tough go to start the season, coming into tonight’s contest with a 0-2 5.03 ERA record. Mitchell’s last outing against the Dodgers wasn’t great, giving up 3 runs and 5 hits over 6 innings.
