Spurs reportedly among teams in Wade sweepstakes

SAN ANTONIO – The Spurs reportedly are one of the leaders, along with the Cavaliers and the Heat, for Dwayne Wade’s services after the 35-year-old, 12-time All-Star reportedly agreed with the Bulls on a buyout Sunday night.

Citing anonymous sources, ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski is reporting that Cleveland is the “clear frontrunner” in the Wade sweepstakes, although the three-time NBA champ is expected to take a “little time” to decide his next move.

The Spurs’ Media Day is set for Monday. Training camp begins Tuesday.

The Chicago Tribune’s K.C. Johnson reported Wade became a free agent after agreeing to a buyout of the remaining year of his contract with the Bulls.
