DeMarcus Cousins has a torn ACL according to The Athletic’s Shams Charania. It’s a devasting injury under any circumstances, but following a torn Achilles tendom and then a hamstring tear, it’s a particularly brutal blow for the former Sacramento Kings big man.
Cousins has been cursed with terrible injury luck since being traded away from Sacramento. He suffered the torn ACL right before hitting free agency where he likely would have received a max contract. He signed a one year deal with the Golden State Warriors to rehab and try to chase a ring, but suffered a torn quad and only appeared in 30 games.
