Carlos Hyde will not be with the Seahawks for their quest toward the NFC’s number one seed. According to Adam Schefter of ESPN, Hyde is out with an illness that is not coronavirus and will miss Seattle’s meeting with San Francisco. The ‘Hawks can still clinch the top playoff-berth with a win combined with a Packers loss and Saints loss or tie.
With Hyde out, expect a heavy dose of Chris Carson. Carson hasn’t eclipsed 20 carries in a game this season, in part due to Hyde eating into his usage. With the Seahawks’ handcuff back nursing an illness, Carson is worth a look in the player props department at FanDuel’s Sportsbook.
