Just one day after becoming a free agent, Phillip Lindsay has agreed to a one-year contract with the Houston Texans. The three-year vet joins a crowded Texans backfield.
A week ago, it was reported that running back Mark Ingram agreed to a one-year deal with Houston. Presumptive starter David Johnson will also be in the mix for carries. This is in addition to having a quarterback who ran for 444 yards in 16 games last season. Although, whether DeShaun Watson returns to the Texans next season is unclear.
After bursting out in his rookie season, Lindsay has had diminishing stats over his last two seasons.
