Jon Lester has reportedly signed a one-year deal with the Washington Nationals.
A member of the Chicago Cubs since 2015, Lester posted a 3-3 record, starting in 12 games last season. He posted a 5.16 ERA, pitching 61 innings, with a 2.47 K/BB rate and 6.20 K/9 rate.
He joins a Washington Nationals rotation that includes Max Scherzer, Stephen Strasburg and Patrick Corbin.
